A fluent interpreter of early works on period instruments, Mr. Fung frequently performs harpsichord, chamber organ, and fortepiano in recital and with ensembles such as Yale's Schola Cantorum under conductors such as David Hill, Masaki Suzuki, and Simon Carrington. He has performed solo and chamber recitals at the Yale Collection of Musical Instruments where he was an Artist in Residence as the keyboardist of the Yale Baroque Ensemble.  He has worked with Arthur Haas, Barthold Kuijken, and Robert Mealy.

Mr. Fung has a particular interest in the works of the First Viennese School, and has performed works by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven on fortepiano in Germany and the United States.
